Pix Of 2nd Comcast Tech Asleep On Customer’s Bed

Here’s the cameraphone pic of yet another Comcast technician taking a snooze at a customer’s house.

He must be really tired. Looks like he’s using a metal bar for a pillow.

Honestly, I think this is kinda mean. The guy is obviously overworked and tired if he’s falling asleep in customers’ houses. Perhaps Comcast isn’t giving him reasonable hours? Maybe he has to take a second job to keep up with expenses? Either way, I’d hate for him to lose his job over this.

  2. TVarmy: I think it’s already too late, I’m fairly sure the original story indicated that he has already been fired.

IF thats the case TVarmy, he could of at least left the house and fallen asleep in his work truck. I know many a grandma’s that would freak out and not know what to do if this happened…

  4. Kornkob says:

Ya know, odds are it’s not that he’s working unreasonable hours (after all— how many 3rd shift home installs do you think go on?). In all probability this stems from the tech staying out a little too late the night prior.

What bothers me about this the most that alot of people are taking for granted is the domino effect it is having.
First off, the tech who fell asleep is a moron who deserved to be fired! Now with that being said, I know for a fact that Comcast is punishing the contract house that the tech worked for. Both my husband and my brother work for the same contract house. They are both very hard working men, who enjoy their job *most days* And with Comcast withholding routes from this contract house, it has a major effect on the families of the employees who have done nothing wrong! Prior to this incident, the guys had plenty of routes from Comcast on a daily basis, since this incident, the guys are lucky if they get to work early enough to snag one of few routes that have trickled through!
I’m not disputing that Comcast isn’t the best cable / internet provider out there… but this is beyond that!
