Everyday Hogwash Rolls in Mud

Back in January, we let you know about Everyday Hogwash, a place where people share “rants” about companies and customer service and hidden fees, yadda yadda, it’s like The Consumerist except with prizes.

And its a marketing effort for VoIP provider SunRocket.

And the complaints are vetted by judges instead of posted by a hidden robot hand, or so the rumor goes. One of those judges writes us the contest has been abandoned, although no one from the company seems to have told the judges, or paid them their $500. As our judge cum tipster writes, it’s a bit too ironic that a contest about how companies stick it to us seems to, itself, stuck it.

What now, we can’t trust ANY marketing?
