Our Servers Promise to Stop Tripping Out

Unlike yesterday, The Consumerist, and all the Gawker Media blogs, should be running smooth now like hot Vaseline on a dolphin’s back.

Basically, the way we were hosting images was creating a feedback loop that overloaded the servers. Which sounds kind of cool. We wish they would create a CGI visualization of it so we can save money on Robitussin.

    …..It’s all loading very swiftly today. To me, the most agonizing part of this week has not been images not loading, but the pink backgound that sets off the black text not loading. You had to either click and drag (hitting god knows what links) to read, or load each article separately (which is what I did), which no doubt added to the server overload…
