Celebrities In Your Wallet: Cool Prepaid Card Or More Fees Than You Can Handle?

Prepaid credit cards offer millions of unbanked Americans an alternative to traditional banking. With the number of prepaid card options growing each year, card providers look for new ways to set themselves apart. That’s where name recognition comes into play. Probably not, seeing as most of the cards are riddled with fees. [More]

In No Way Are We Shocked That Justin Bieber Is Hawking A Pre-Paid Debit Card Laden With Fees

Here at Consumerist HQ we’re a bit leery when it comes to pre-paid debit cards. They always seem to come with hidden fees that can pop up and punish users for trying to access their own money. Man Beliebes Justin Bieber Stole His Credit Card Info To Buy A Penis Enlargement

Justin Bieber’s fans believe a lot of things about the teen singer, mainly that it’s okay to call themselves “Beliebers.” But one man is not a fan of the Biebs, claiming that not only did he have the nerve to use his stolen credit card , but that he bought a penis enlargement with it. Michelle is trying to negotiate with Verizon but all they’ve done so far is offer a 50% discount. That’s still about $600 more than Michelle wants to pay. [More]

Fashion's Night Out: Dolce & Gabbana Made Kids Buy $35 Lipgloss To Get Bieber Autograph.

Shoppers have figured out that Fashion’s Night Out in New York is a great time to scoop up freebies, like tshirts, prizes and free champagne. But in a recessionary move, this year retailers are making attendees pay a price if they wanted the privilege of attending their promotions and getting celebrity autographs. At Dolce & Gabbana, kids were told that they could buy a $35 tube of lipgloss to get Justin Bieber’s autograph, but then he only popped down the stairs to sing one cover song. Then he sped back upstairs without signing anything. [More]
