Works on any mobile web browser, and its free!
Why is it that whenever iPhone folks figure out something that other smartphone users have been doing for years on Palm or Windows Mobile, they have to sh!t the bed over it?"
"Bring your Blackberry/iPhone/Treo, or whatever other smart device you use, and just pretend to be really busy looking up something important on the interwebs, when in fact you're doing the online crossword."
"#5 - who's the competition and why are you better?
If you don't consider this, and answer the second part from a truly objective viewpoint (like having your product run side-by-side in an independent test) you'll get hosed."
"+1 on mint being invasive - ours crept over (under) the fence from next door, and took over an entire 8 x 2 flower bed in 2 seasons.
For northern climates, rosemary is OK, but will die in the winter unless the roots are very very low (lots of mulch in the fall is good).
Lamb's ear will grow anywhere, but also spreads too fast, like mint.
Nasturtiums are also good flowers to grow anywhere - they taste good in salads too!"
"Sorry but this article gets it wrong on several counts...
1) They say to buy the preservative-free versions of beef jerky, but there's actually a TON of evidence, and more every day, that the nitrates in preserved meat products have cardiovascular disease benefit (I know this because I run a lab that researches therapies for heart attack).
2) Pork rinds - the problem here, as with many other foods, is serving size."
"I classify sites in terms of their use...
- One password (very secure and changed monthly) for banking and anything liked to my finances.
- One for second-tier financial-linked logins (amazon and other commercial stuff, where no credit card info' is stored).
- One for travel sites
- One for work-related sites (scientific journal review logins)
- One for blogs, forums, discussion sites.
That way, I only have to remember 5 passwords, and if someone discovers one, they can't get on to the other classes of website."
"How about some REAL modern day survival skills...
- How to steal gas (your sister site Jalopnik had a post on this last week).
- How to deal with idiotic TSA staff at the airport?
- How to jump the queue at an Apple store on iPhone release day?
- How to grow your own food
- How to vote!"
