"Here's a more subtle form of Christmas Creep: I saw Silk brand Soy Egg Nog (I call it Snog)on the shelves in October, I want to say at the week before Halloween. I confess that as much as I hate Christmas Creep, I love Snog and don't mind if it creeps onto the shelf as soon as it gets cold outside each year."

"@sicknick: The "do not give your name" thing is pretty much confined to restaurants where the entrees cost more than $15, which is what the guy was planning on opening, and this list is what he wants waiters to do at his restaurant. It's pretty typical and considered good service when a waiter *doesn't* introduce himself at higher end restaurants, and actually, something I happen to prefer."
