"@mizike who said: "The majority of people who take the greyhound have the finances to either go by bus, or not at all." This is largely true, but don't forget that Canada has a lot of remote places that are, for all practical purposes, almost exclusively serviced by Greyhound."

      • vrn3b commented on Seventeen people have been

"Reminds me of the crazy conspiracy theory I read on NaturalNews.com: The Food Irradiation Plot It goes a little something like this: - that recent study supposedly showing the only way to safely wash spinach is through irradiation (?!) was in fact and unbeknownst to the public, solicited by big pharma. - gov't intentionally gets a little "sloppy" on food inspections over the next little while so that contaminated veggie stories make the headlines - gov't waits for public to demand that "something be done" - gov't pulls out this crazy study and says, this is all we can do - panicked public accepts said crazy study, fearing for their lives from the "unsafe" veggies - all raw food is irradiated by new gov't regulations, thereby killing a lot of the "still living" stuff in the veggies which contain a lot of their veggie - goodness - people get sicker because the veggies they're eating for health now provide much fewer health benefits - big pharmaceutical companies swoop in with drugs to make people better - pharma companies and their investors make tons of $$ (much of which goes to political contributions) This guy is either nuts or on to something."
