"Amex kicks butt - got a full refund from American Airlines + a $100 "inconvenience" charge I added on just because I felt like it!
Then after Delta left me stranded in Seoul Airport, I called the collect # in the US, Amex issued me a ticket on KAL & then offered to call my family & let them know I'd be delayed!
I'm at the point that if a store doesn't accept Amex I won't shop there."
"Please stop the speculators because we don't have enough credit to be speculators ourselves?
In other words, no one will sell us futures because we can't cover the spread if we lose.
waaaaa"
"@SkokieGuy:
8 : Yes, a very nice gentlemen who sadly recently lost a favorite relative offered me the sum of three hundred million pounds for mine.
I sent him $25,000 to help him release the funds and my money will be wired to me today."
"Most every airline trots out the "we want to be like Southwest" mantra, finally one that's prepared to ape SWA's executive compensation.
American Airlines CEO - $4.6M, AMR losses $328M, 1st Q 08
Delta Airlines CEO - $3.3M, DAL losses $6.4B, 1st Q 08
United Airlines CEO - $10.3M, UAL losses $539M, 1st Q 08
NWest CEO - $7.7M, NWA losses $4.139B, 1st Q 08
Southwest CEO - $1.3M, LUV profit $32M, 1st Q 08
See a trend?"
"@BiscuitDoughJones: sorry, not so much perviness as a horribly slow connection that didn't refresh the page fully!
I would think some wives would be all too happy for their husbands to go all pervi about them (in a "can't wait to get back to the house" way, not a "let's try something I saw on a porn flick" way)?"
Awesome comment about the American Eagle/ Autistic Child post. I could not believe what that guy wrote? I understand snarking deserving people who need to be called out, but picking on a child is just lame. Thanks for the back up!
