"My irrational fear is stopping beneath bridges/overpasses. I don't have any issue going over them, but sitting under old, crumbly things with trains and highway traffic flying over my head bothers me."

"I use a Bunn coffee maker at work (property management) and it is amazing the difference between it and other "traditional" makers: [www.stapleslink.com] (I hope that link works :P) It basically has a hot water reservoir that keeps the next pot worth of water hot and ready."

      • gorckat commented on Home Depot Credit Card Charges Perpetual Interest

"It's very easy to estimate finance charges needed to payoff a card with daily interest like this (Retail Residual Finance Charges, in old MBNA lingo): -Look at your most recent statement and see what the finance charge was -Add that amount to your payment (if you get the payment their well before the due date, you may overpay a little and get a credit check mailed out) This is also useful for people pushing their limit and not sure if a finance charges will put them overlimit when the absolutely must charge $20 of their $25 available credit."
