TurboTax Tick-off
Intuit's Turbotax uses another bank for setting up a tax refund direct deposit. With regard to the Tax Stimulus Rebate...even if you did a direct deposit through Turbotax using this other bank, you will not receive the rebate direct deposit. Apparently, the IRS won't even have your bank account number.
This alone is not Intuit's fault. They couldn't have predicted how the IRS wouild work this. However, they did not have the courage or caring or moral decency to let their customers know this when they found out unless they looked for it. Obviously they had email and snail mail addresses by which they could do this, but instead they chose not to.
I'm sure I am not the only one waiting for that rebate. In fact, it has made for a very difficult financial month for me now. However, had I been warned about this by Intuit, I could have taken other measures. I will never buy from Intuit again, including Quicken or Turbotax because of their total lack of concern for my and other's financial welfare.
Thanks.
