Oh no! You're dead. Except...you're not dead. I've never seen someone only be banned from one of the sites. Interesting... What did they kill you for? The snarkiness shot or the broken record syndrome?

      Meg on Nov 18, 2008

I'm publicly apologizing for my "tall order" comment in regards to you not being a prick. I wasn't even in that thread, and despite how I feel about some of your comments, it wasn't necessary to jump in just to say that. I'm sorry.

      Meg on Nov 16, 2008

I think I spend way too much time on Gawker, because as soon as I heard this (around the 1:30 mark), I immediately thought of you:

Regarding your statement about Obama taking advantage of the loss of a family member, what kind of low-life scum are you to think the Illinois senator is using the death of his grandmother as a way to move ahead in the polls? True, he is a politician deeply entrenched in what may very well be the political race of his lifetime, but he is also a human with real emotions. I don't think I'm alone in the feelings of disgust and disdain I have for you for doubting Obama's public expression of genuine sadness and sorrow. While I would never wish such a devastating event as the loss of a loved one to happen to you, I would hope that if such an event were to take place you would not be exposed to the same harsh and heartless form of ridicule you inflicted upon Obama in this scenario. You should be ashamed of yourself.

      Triborough on Oct 2, 2008

I'd say the same thing about Obama if he was white, Asian, an alien-human hybrid, or anything else. It is typical attack - if you don't like Obama you are a racist. That is bullshit.

If you are voting for or not voting for someone just because of their race/ethnic group/gender/faith/sexual orientation/favorite baseball team/way they dress/etc. you are an idiot.

I judge people on the content of their character and guess what, in Obama I see just another corrupt politician from one of the most corrupt cities in the country. I'd be saying the same sort of thing if this was a white guy. Now if he was a white guy from New Jersey, I'd be saying the same sort of thing, but Chicago makes Trenton look like a good government society.

We'd be better off making politics like jury duty - you get selected, you leave your real job for a time, you serve, then you go back to your real job. Pick people out of the phone book or something. If you want to be president, you probably shouldn't be.

These corrupt politicians got us into the mess we are in so they could line their pockets and their cronies pockets and you can sure as hell expect them to profit from their "solution" to the problem that they brought forth. The only real solution is to limit these leeches to one or two terms per level of government so they cannot create a culture of corruption.

I cant in good conscious vote for either of the bad options and yet again I'll cast another blank ballot for the presidential electors as well as every other position on the ballot. Whoever wins, we all lose.

"I would have no problem with a black president, as long as he wasn't a Chicago Politician."

See, I don't believe that for one second. Reference all of your comments about Obama: "Chicago Politician." Substitute "Black President" with "Chicago Politician" and we know where your heart lies.
