"@Razor512: forgot to add, if you go with cheap cables be sure to look at where they are coming from, the bottom of the line ones are generally the knockoffs that come from china and are usually sold on ebay, you can get them often for well under $1 including shipping I have used them and they give good picture, no difference compared to any other cable, but the connectors are cheaply made, I have a 12 foot one that I won on a ebay auction for 31 cents, free shipping, I use it for my 40 inch LCD HDTV, it connects from my fios STB to the tv, I uses a little bit of glue on the weak points to make sure it doesn't break. my $3 cable is for the laptop since I disconnect and reconnect it a lot and the connectors are well made"

"@Mxx: I got my self a 6 foot HDMI cable for $3 including shipping from amazon.com it has been a year and they still work perfectly, I don't know if it is possible to get the picture clearer since if I hook it up to a laptop with HDMI output, everything is 100% clear monster cable generally uses a SLIGHTLY more quality cable covering (to make it handle bending and other abuse a little better but none of that extra stuff is worth their high price."

      • Razor512 commented on 15 Years In Prison After Cutting The Line At Walmart?

"It depends on what she did, if her cousin was on the other line and was close to the checkout (while like 20 people were behind her cousin) and she happens to join the line right behind her cousin, this this shows her as being a jerk and from my experience from students who do this at school on the lunch line, they are generally the more aggressive students who do this. As for the police problem, there should be some surveillance camera footage, if not then it is her word against the police officers and guess who the courts are going to believe."

      • Razor512 commented on Target's Reality Vortex Expands To Walgreens

"I stopped buying snacks ever since the prices went up, remember a few years ago when a bag that size cost 50 cents and the $1 bad was twice as large? this problem is worst in my college, the $1 bag is nearly $2 in the store inside my college and students still buy it, stupidity drives up cost, if you are willing to pay $1 for the $1 item then they will charge $2 and on top of that, the college charges tax on top of the items price even though the item is not taxable this goes to show how students don't pay attention in their law classes or businesses classes or economic classes"

"@darkrose: When I had verizon DSL, a tree fell on the phone line in front of the house, (no phone or internet due to the line laying in the front yard) I called verizon to report the problem and the support worker did a "line test" which came back fine so they blamed the problem on my computer."
