"@Worldwalker:So, in short, Apple doesn't have to fix it, just like they wouldn't fix a computer that got flooded with soda. There's a big difference between Apple saying, "We won't fix it because the computer has been abused," and saying, "We're not legally allowed to fix it because nicotine is a bio-hazard." The former is something I would accept."
