"Dell's for me have been more good than bad. the worst problem i've had is with Dimension 2xxx line and the CPU cooling fans. Dell used a proprietary fan that is almost impossible to find. I have quite a few of them that i've had to replace and have had problems getting a compatible replacement even from them. that said, If i call them, explain what troubleshooting steps i've taken and what I believe is wrong with the computer, I usually have a part on the way within 10 minutes of talking to a rep."
