I think somebody did this at a Domino's a few years ago. He blamed the advertisements for making the food look too tasty or something.

I'm just trying to work out the logistics of this. Doesn't a lot of this kind of equipment have something like a 30-minute warm-up time?

If he wanted a grilled shirt and shoe so badly, he should have just went to Jack in the Box.

I can't help but admire his initiative.

@Framling: Depends on the setting, to make grilled shirt and shoes it only needs to warm for about a minute.

I can't count the times I have contemplated doing something like this. In high school my friends and I worked at various fast food places (our group intentionally took jobs that would benefit the rest of the group by providing free food) because of this we had keys to probably 5 or 6 different places. We always came to the conclusion that no matter how delicious pizza t 3 am would be or some burritos at 2am, the benefit of free food was not worth the risk.

BTW, that burger was fucking delicious.

@STrRedWolf: Yep there are a few In n Outs near me. I think they close at midnight. Unfortunatly most of the we never close places are pretty awful late-night. I guess the drunks don't care.
