I've found Tripadvisor reviews to be pretty reliable--as long as you throw out the 5star reviews where the author has only one or two entrees. There are quite a few obvious laughable shill reviews--but they do have the transparency needed for the astude to weed them out.

It shouldn't matter what you say to your "agent". If you've acted prudently and wisely-your agent will be YOUR advocate and guide you in case of a claim. What's important is what he/she says to the insurer.

I use and trust Tripadvisor---but you must discount EVERY positive review where the reviewer only has one or two reviews posted---these are likely shills. There are tons of them.

@Skin Art Squared: Some states make the trucker get the load legal before being allowed to leave the scale. If he is over gross--that means removing some of the load. If he is over weight on an axle--that means moving the load around until the distribution on the axles is right. It's highly likely that this load was brokered to s small company that has neither the equipment or resources to get the problem straightened out.

I'm guessing car dealers figured out how to work this deal real quick. You can bet this benefited them a whole lot more than the consumer. Letting them administrate the deal is the biggest laugher since the fox got the keys to the henhouse.
