Twice in the past couple of months, I have received packages at my Residential address intended for "Colby Electronics". (Yes, I thought it was a typo for Coby too, but turns out it wasn't.) Anywho, the address where they were originally sent is about 50 miles from my house in Queens, NY. I guess the company isn't there anymore, and somehow UPS decided that my house was the new Colby Returns Center.
The first time was rather amusing; the return address was from a prison somewhere. Having no desire to get shanked when this guy gets out and never had his CD player returned, I promptly called UPS. They had no problem picking up the package, and I figured they would make a note of it in their system. This being UPS, I was wrong and got a bunch of sticky notices on my door a few weeks ago for another Colby package that was rerouted by UPS from Queens to my house. If I get anymore, I might start seeking compensation =)

The system is different at every store. It can also be customized by the GM at any given store. So if one store is charging for mayo, it doesn't mean others are. McDonald's is a franchise store. Most of them don't even have the same owner in a given area.
