The FDA, FCC, FTC, CDA, and numerous other somewhat beneficial government bureaus and agencies aren't in the constitution either. Does that make them illegal? The Internet isn't in the constitution. I guess we should work to abolish it as well. If our fore-fathers couldn't foresee it, it's not good enough for me!

Corporations and businesses pay people salaries, not individuals. They can afford to pay those salaries because those people make money for the business or corporation.

Trickle down doesn't work because "the top" doesn't spend as much money proportionally as "the middle" and "the bottom". Additionally, the trickle down that eventually gets to the "middle" and "bottom" is in the form of static compensation, especially for the "bottom". What ends up happening is money transfers between various "top" groups, who are funded by the bottom consumer groups. The Top will do whatever it takes to continue to be the top so the bottom is in a perpetual state of net loss.

From dealing with similar issues there is little incentive for them to do anything with the second loan since it's 25% smaller than the first and more importantly if you go bankrupt they'll lose that money anyway, since they can only restructure the primary loan, the secondary loan get washed out.

Actually, any decent doctor will give you an itemized estimation of the costs, let you know what your insurance should cover, where the greatest variance will occur, what might drive up the costs and what they'll do to try to keep the costs low.

Recently had to put a dog down and at almost the same time had to hospitalize my other dog and the vet that I went to did this for us.

Same deal with getting your car fixed up, always get a written estimate, any reputable place will give you one.

I understand the reason for the policy, but the policy itself can be implemented more fairly. Like if a person actually sits down to eat they can take it home, or better yet, if it's partially eaten.

There definitely shouldn't be any "to go" orders accepted at happy-hour prices, but to not let customers take home their own partially eaten food is crossing a line somewhere.
