Michigan Man Wins $65,000 In Lawsuit Over Robocalls
I had that problem with some crap insurance company calling me on my cell. They said they were related to MBNA. I phoned MBNA and they agreed they were related, but that they couldn't stop the calling.
I sent a letter to head office explaining why I will need them to close my account. Head office sent me an apology and asked that since they've removed my phone number from their system and called their marketers up to have them do the same, would I stay?
I did... ...mostly because their card wasn't a bad deal. But that relationships thing is pretty bullshit. :(
Since When Does Stainless Steel Rust?
I think that's the point--it's stainless--as in the rust stains don't stick. Clean them off without any major effort and you're good, with little loss of material.
19-Year-Old Lives In AOL Offices For 2 Months, No One Notices
That takes several years (usually around 10+) and it must be open and notorious. In other words, not purposely hidden by a wall like this was. If it were tents in a handicapped space, then they'd be OK--once they got away with it for the necessary decade or so--since that would be completely open to the owner's view and obvious enough to fill in for "notorious". :)

Which Are The Best & Worst U.S. Hotel Chains?
Heh, I actually think the opposite. I've had great luck at Econo Lodge, and an absolutely terrible stay at a Microtel Inn (Micro is right! I had to sleep in the unusually large window sill because they booked my double occupancy stay with the smallest best possible--one double bed--was more comfortable to just sleep on the windowsill).
City Tells Man He Can Build Tomato Garden, Then Decides It's Against The Law
So, should the government sue itself when it spends more than it earns, since that devalues your home?

Should An Airline Be Allowed To Say Your Shirt Is Too Offensive?
There's no need to be subjected to unpleasant/offensive things in a private confined space that you paid good money to be in, where the owners of said space want you to be protected from it.

If only there was an HOA there, then they could remove this eyesore by taking away his house!

New Parking Meter Sensors Put An End To Parking On Previous Driver's Dime
Yes, I think it's much more that he would rather pay the shopkeeper for the parking then the city, as do most people.
Same reason I drive to get my licensed renewed in person rather than do it on the internet--the government charges extra to do it on the internet here. I'd rather give the gas companies my money than the government.
