How about this? A friend's brother was pulled over and when he declined the officer's request to check his phone, the officer "accidentally" dropped it on the ground, then "accidentially" stepped on it three or four times

Study: Driving While Stoned Is Very Dangerous, But Not As Risky As Drunk Driving

I remember a kind of joke from the old days:

What's the difference between a drunk and a stoner? The drunk will drive at 70 mph and think he's doing 30 mph, while the stoner will be going 30 mph and think he's doing 70 mph. And it's sort of true.

so true ... I got a great deal on a 2010 Toyota Corolla in the spring with rebate and zero percent financing; A few weeks ago I saw that Carmax wants about $400 more than I paid for it in the spring.

Crackle Streams Free Movies To Sony Devices, Roku

It's already happening ... we got a Sony Blu-Ray at Christmas and I've been watching Crackle for three months. The only annoying thing is how the commercials cut right into the movie with no warning or anything -- in the middle of a fight scene, dialogue, whatever.

Researchers: Skipping Out On Sleep Can Lead To Earlier Death

What if you can't sleep? I regularly wake up between 3 am and 5 am (sometimes 2 am) and once my eyes are open, I'm up for the day. I usually lie in bed and try to fall back asleep but it doesn't happen very often. I'm not really tired during the day but at night I can fall asleep on the couch before 9 pm. I used to think it was work stress but then it started happening on weekends and vacations.

About five years ago, a friend of mine gave me a laptop he found in a dumpster used by federal employees in downtown Chicago. After some googling, I cracked the BIOS password, installed Windows 2000 on the HD (didn't find any govt secrets, just a single document from the IRS to an Air Force guy) and got a Orinco Gold wireless card for $40 on Ebay. Still works great and we use it as a backup and a spare for friends.
