I'd blame the cashier. Trust me, just because they're employed doesn't mean they're against stealing. I had a gal at a shop ask me to leave my bag at the counter because it was 'policy' and when I came back to make a purchase, $200 in cash was missing. I called the owner, but he said there were no security cameras to catch the incident so there was nothing he could do. It was basically my word against hers. The best bit was that it was AGAINST their policy to ask for bags, because there are cameras in the back of the store (just not at the register) and that the girl was new because he had just fired his old employee for stealing from the till. The last I checked, pets aren't very expensive...I mean, when you give them their first round of shots and get them fixed it costs a few hundred dollars, but after that it's only their yearly boosters if they don't become injured, and pet food is only around $10 a bag and lasts for a month. The only way I can see someone not being able to afford their pet because of a foreclosure is because they couldn't afford to have one in the first place.
People need to be more responsible. A pet is not an object you purchase for entertainment like a new iPod or a computer game. A pet is like a child...you have to prepare and know that you can afford to feed it and know that you'll have time to give it the attention and love it needs.

I take birth control because I have severe dysmenhorria that gives me excruciating pain and sometimes even fainting spells during the week of my cycle, so I have to take bc if I don't want to miss several days of work a month. If someone denied me birth control because they had a holier-than-thou attitude, I'd be VERY pissed.

First of all, $700 for a stroller is absolutely ridiculous. Secondly, if I were bending over backwards trying to locate an item for a dissatisfied customer and they turned around and treated me like dirt, I'd go back on my word too. Sounds to me like Mia was really going the limit and when she couldn't find the item, was simply asking for a bit of help in locating another stroller that would be sufficient, and the guy flipped out on her for something that wasn't her fault.

The girlfriend should have been paying attention to her gas gauge. There's even a light that comes on and dings when you're running low if you're not one to check your gauges. I couldn't imagine running out of gas and being unaware of it!
But the fact that roadside assistance left when she was STILL stranded...well, seems to render their services pointless to me. I'd go for the refund, mate.
