TV Execs Concerned Hulu Is Undermining Their Business Model

The problem with MLB.tv is that they black out your local team so you have to watch it through your cable provider. If you actually live where your team plays then you never actually get to see them. MLB.tv is great if 1) you want to watch as many different teams as you can while still watching your favorite on cable or 2) you live far away from your favorite team.

Body Found Outside Boston May Have Fallen From Plane

I actually live less than half a mile from where the body was found. While it sounds insane to me I can see how it would be plausible. The planes that fly overhead on their way to Logan are extremely low when going over my house. The first time I saw it I thought something was wrong and that the plane was too low to be landing at Logan, but now it's just something you expect.

Did I say Apple doesn't have any problems? I was pointing out that they are not alone even though all the Apple haters seem to think they are.

Wait On Line To Show Your Costco Receipt Or You Will Be Assaulted

I love how the OP says "So I went to the other door which does have exit illuminated above it" trying to justify that as being the actual exit. The "illuminated sign" is what you call required emergency exit signage. Its not a pretty light that means you can leave through it if you feel you deserve to leave before all the other people patiently waiting in line (which you all agreed to when you purchased your Costco membership).

Should she have been grabbed? No. Should she have been the typical entitled brat that most people are today? No.

It's good her life is so busy but she has plenty of time to call, complain and "continue writing to members of Costco Management". She actually sounds more like someone with a little too much time on her hands...

Please Come To, And Help Us Pay For, Our Wedding

I just got married in May and had the same issue with not needing any new household items, given we have been together for 7 years and already live together in the house we bought. What we did instead of gifts was asked people to donate money to a charity of our choice instead. That way people are actually very receptive and giving but you also do something extremely good for a group in need. I highly recommend this option to anyone!

@Nathaniel Burns: I was at Kinko's the other day and the person in front of me was trying to make a color copy of his passport. The Kinko's employee said that is was illegal to make a color copy of a legal document. Does anyone know if this is actually true?

@xtc46: Apple/AT&T have the ability to prevent it from being reactivated but they won't (unless they have changed their policy). My 1st gen iphone was stolen a year ago and when I reported it they told me that there was nothing they could do except deactivate the phone. However, when I asked about it being reactivated under another name they said they could not stop it (even though I am sure they could).

Is it bad that I am so cynical now that I think the only reason the IRS is implementing this is to find a faster way to audit people? Something about a computer quickly scanning hundreds of returns in the same amount of time as a single employee makes me nervous!

This is probably just more alarmist media pandering like last time. Watch the full details of the report come out and say that they found 1 parts per trillion of these drugs in the water, which would mean you'd pretty much have to drink 10 gallons of water a day, for a month, to have any level of drug in your system to effect you. What I would love to see is the same study done on the bottled water everyone drinks, which is also just tap water from places like New York, and see what concentrations of different drugs are found there!
