It's really time to stop paying them altogether. We have enough laws. If something comes up Congress can meet once a year and collect a reimbursement for travel expenses.

They just want money. A food tax is pretty hard to evade and can raise huge amounts by skimming a hardly noticeable amount off each purchase.

You're grateful for a new fee? Every bank will hit you with a few for more than 6 transfers (thank you exalted Congress of Cretins for the regulation!), but yours is charging you out of greed for each of the first 6. It may seem like an nice service, but transferring funds between accounts at a bank should cost nothing, and having separate checking and savings accounts is also outdated (i.e. there is no reason why your checking account isn't getting the savings account interest rate--people don't write many checks anymore and debit charges bring in profit)

Your assertion that there is "NO right to privacy in public. EVER" means that that you have no argument against universal government surveillance. Which I agree is worse than amateur surveillance, but at least government agents are minimally vetted and usually get in trouble if they sell your picture to voyeurism porn site.

I propose we come up with a new slogan "There is always a right to privacy. EVERYWHERE." Look I just made that one up and it works perfectly!
