Report: TSA Has No Idea How To Screen A 7-Year-Old With Cerebral Palsy
Then how do you explain the fact that it happens? I am truly not trying to be confrontational, but if this rule exists, why was a flight I was on recently subject to a second screening? A TSA agent stood next to the gate and randomly asked people in line for ID as we were getting on the plane. It was implied, if not directly stated, that if we did not produce ID, we could not fly.
Guess What, Folks? Pink Slime Isn't The Only Food With Ammonia In It
ALL bagels are boiled (sometimes with lye) before baking. Anything not boiled is just circular bread, in my opinion.
Giving A Ford Dealership Bad Survey Grades Is Basically Tossing Their Employees Out On The Street
My dealership is amazing, I've had nothing but good experiences. Their prices are competitive, and they have NEVER tried to push service on me. I went in for an oil change last week and got exactly that. They mentioned that my battery and brake pads might need to be replaced "at some point," but they actually encouraged me to wait until my next scheduled service rather than doing it the same day. I realize that this isn't the norm, and there certainly are bad dealerships, but they aren't all bad.
Ohio Cops Implementing "No-Refusal" DUI Weekend With Blood-Draw Warrants
Probably not. Losing your license for refusing a breathalyzer is what is called an administrative loss of license. Basically, you've violated the Terms of Service (hah). Here in CT, you sign paperwork when getting your license that states that you will submit to a breath test when asked. If you don't, the DMV takes away your license. It has nothing to do with the actual alcohol you've consumed, but simply with the refusal to take the test.
Losing your license for a DUI is a criminal loss of license, related to the conviction.
It's A Good Thing Shoppers Can Do Simple Math Because Walmart Isn't So Great At It
I'm not sure whether this is just a Connecticut thing, but here, if a store offers a deal like this on grocery (food) items, they must offer individual items at the properly-scaled price. So if something is 2 for $5, they must honor the price of 1 for $2.50. They can still do "but x, get y free" without having to scale, but the moment I learned about the "bundling" trick, I stopped buying in sets of 2 or 3 or 10 or however many they want you to get.
Consumer Reports Issues Its Verdict On The iPhone 4S
I don't really get it either. I just switched from a Motorola Droid to the iPhone 4S, and one of the main reasons was that there aren't any Android phones out right now with comparable specs and reasonably-sized screen. I just don't want a screen as large as on the Thunderbolt or Droid Bionic. I don't know why, it just stops feeling like a phone. I was a huge Android fangirl, but I like the size and feel of the 4S so much that I'm becoming an Apple fan now.
Why Doesn't T-Mobile's Phone Blocking Feature Make Any Sense?
I had a cellphone in high school, and I needed it. Not only were teachers allowed to assign detentions to be served the same day (under threat of suspension), but some of my after school activities were short-notice events. Our school locked the pay phones until 4 pm or something ridiculous, and none of the offices would let you use a phone to call home. I took the bus, so I'd need to let my mom know to pick me up later.
How's Your iPhone 4S Battery?
I noticed the not-charging issue this morning - I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and it got to 100%.

Toshiba Thrive Tablet Cracks While Being Held: Sorry, That's Your Fault
This thing right here. I run Honeycomb off the microSD when I feel like it, and pop it out when I want the B&N OS. I prefer the native reading app to the Nook app on Android, oddly enough, so I use the native OS for reading and Android for everything else (Angry Birds, anyone? Muahaha...)
