Report: Warner Bros. Will Stretch New Release Rental Window From 28 To 56 Days
The rental market is returning to the 80's mindset when it used to take forever for a movie to release on VHS, and then it was really expensive to buy.
SiriusXM 'Everything' Plan Does Not, In Fact, Include Everything
Netflix should pay attention to Sirius/XM. Once a good thing gone bad with horrible business decisions.
I cancelled a radio back in Feb only to get charged in August because the CSR decided I didn't really want to cancel, I merely wanted to suspend service. Chargeback here we come.
Christmas Creep Pops Up Down Under
Cracker Barrel has the fall/winter holiday orgy with Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all on display.
Time Warner Cable Expands With Purchase Of Insight Communications
Doesn't TWC have some of the lowest broadband caps in the land? I just moved back to KY and got Insight Business for broadband, paid the extra $ so I wouldn't have to deal with caps. Hopefully TWC doesn't screw with the business offerings.
Capital One Sends You Over 20 Credit Card Offers In 3 Months
I wrote in to Consumerist a month ago about a similar experience with Chase - guess since I didn't include pictures for proof it wasn't worthy. Today, I received 4 offers from Chase, duplicates mind you of 2 offers. Normally it's just 2 a week, so I felt uber-special to receive double the attention.
Keep in mind, I both emailed and called-in to get them to stop to no avail.
Following the feedback I found on another site on trying to stop the insanity, I'm mailing the offers back to them in their postage-paid envelopes with "love-notes" on the outside of the envelope requesting they stop the madness. Now the a**holes are going to pay double the postage for no business.
Weren't they bitching about being broke not long ago?
Ultimate Electronics To Liquidate, Close All Stores
next on the chopping block, HH Gregg. They're expanding in the same way Ultimate did with the same product lines.
Ultimate Electronics To Liquidate, Close All Stores
This is shocking. Just moved from Denver this summer and last year they shut down the stores in Denver for at least a couple of weeks for remodeling and reopened the week before Black Friday. Oddly enough, they were intentionally? price-matching Amazon on the tv I just bought when I went to pick up the TV stand from them.
Best Buy Puts An End To Tyrannical Restocking Fees
Amazon appears to be selective, I returned a Mac-Mini with no restocking fee after keeping it for 2 weeks. Of course, it might have something to do with me being a Prime member and spending an insane amount of money with them this year.
Amazon Prime Customers Don't Like Ensenda, Either
Here in NW PA, Amazon will use a company called Prestige. They show up in worn-out mini-vans with little to no marking on the vehicles. I've actually had a package delayed due to "weather conditions" in the middle of September.
I cringe anytime I see they are delivering my goods, they do not have online tracking and you have to go through Amazon customer service if something is delayed.

One Man's Campaign To End Six Months Without A Working Haier TV
A friend of mine bought a Haier washer/drier set. Took him 18 months to get the issue resolved with Haier finally taking the machine back and refunding his money. He claimed the models were were ranked fairly high on Consumer Reports.
