Beat The "Four Square" Dealership Ripoff
I bought a new 2008 Honda Accord a couple of years ago. I figured out exactly what I wanted. I faxed my "order" to a dozen dealer's asking for the best PRICE they could offer. Most responded. I went back and forth with the top 2 or 3 dealers. Found the best price. Never walked into a dealership until I had already agreed on the deal. In and out in an hour.
Had planned to pay cash but they offered 1.9% for 36 months. I was ok with paying $850 in interest spread out over 36 months to keep my cash holdings a little more padded.
Delta Sent My Kid Off Plane With A Stranger, Gave Me $300 To Make Up For It
yep - many guys (as many wifes can attest) still act like / wish they were kids. Count me in.
I'm not creepy, I'm a nice guy, and if I were sitting next to kid flying along I'd chat him up. It's nice being a grown up, but I do miss being an 8yr old sometimes. Sounds like we're not getting 100% of the story. Not insinuating anything, I just don't think we have all the facts yet. Does sound like Delta screwed up though. If you're going to charge and extra $200 you need to know where that kid is at all times.
If You Get Mad, Don't Smash 29 Walmart TVs With A Bat
Best part was the fling of the bat after he cracked the last one...like he knew he got a hold of that one and tossed the bat like a real pro.
If this Johnny Damon thing doesn't work out for the Braves, we should look into this guy.
Comcast Spells My Name Wrong, Can't Help Me Fix It Over The Phone
My name is Matt. One of the top 3 first names in the US for decades now, right?
I've been "Nat" with Terminix for years.
Somehow I've been "Richard" with Jos A Bank for a while now. Actually I know exactly what happened. The salesman who helped me buy a suit years ago was named Richard...and he entered his name instead of mine by mistake.
I've never been able to get these fixed.

Though I haven't watched MTV in years and years...we'll always have November Rain...
JetBlue Responds To Tweet, Goes Looking For Passenger's Sunglasses

Big Bankers Will Only Pay Themselves $40 Billion In Bonuses
Interesting theory...in economic parlance I believe this is called socialism...
Big Bankers Will Only Pay Themselves $40 Billion In Bonuses
I'm going to get blasted for this, but like them or not, these guys aren't all making $336,000/yr, driving Ferrari's and living in McMansions.
The overwhelming majority, i.e. tens of thousands of Wall Street bankers are making in NYC what translates to probably $75k-$150k in any other city in America - granted not small bananas, but not obscene like Obama spouts. They're by and large regular guys and girls who busted their rears in undergrad, business school, and now 60-80 hour weeks and are generating millions in earnings for these companies in their specific departments of these financial institutions.
You should have a beef with the couple of hundred people continuing to make multiple millions after contributing so much to the recession, but common sense and rational arguments are hard to come by.

Couple Discovers Secret Room In New Home, Secretly Filled With Moldy Garbage
Ah, the joys of home ownership...
The asbestos should have been caught, but honestly, of those 7 points, I'm thinking...about the first 6...yep, the onus is on you as the homebuyer to check these things out. Sucks to be you, but life ain't always fair.
Floor tiling stuck on the counters to refurbish damaged ones? That's brilliant.
And the advice to put on a mask, haul out the moldy trash, and bathe the place in Clorox...what are you expecting? That's pretty solid advice if you ask me...and then make a really awesome secret room!
