I applied for a management position within my company that I've previously applied for but could not get due to not having a college degree. After 3 interviews, I was offered the job and moved 2 weeks later to my "dream job". I had no previous management experience.

It wasn't until I arrived that I realized why - the facility was in shambles and they were willing to take just about anyone as very few people applied for the position. I struggled the first year and was put on probation due to my poor performance. Year Two came with a 180-degree turn, going from "almost fired" to "kudos" all around.

In hindsight I'm thankful for the opportunity to fail but I certainly don't want to repeat that period of time ever again!

It was called "The Great One" - and it was 24oz.

It always reminded me of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for some reason...
