@ConroyCotta: It depends on the store. I entered one store, and it smelled gross, too. When I visited Charlottetown, their Salvation Army was the cleanest store I've ever seen. So I guess it depends on the local management.

@em2thrasher: Who uses personal checks any more? It's such an hassle for everyone. Why use it, when your debit card, does the same (as long, as used responsibly.)

@Shiya: There is only one reason : not enough clientele, so not enough profits! Everything else about color/demographic are crappy excuses. Basically demand. The rest is pure ''air'', and some ignorant crap that doesn't stand to someone who've seen marketing manual.

@AT203: I doubt that's honesty... More like stupidity. The reasons rep given, cannot be applied in general, so I say ''bulls@it!''.
(One of my pals works in marketing, it's not as easy defining clothing demographics, as this ''customer service lady'' said.)
