Obviously Babybel just spent too much money on that awesome skydiving commercial they're running now. Because now when I think of jumping out of airplanes, the first thing that comes to mind is a tiny wheel of cheese. Thanks Babybel!
Hey North America: Why Aren't You Buying 20 Oz Bottles Of Coke?
I work at a retirement home, and in our employee break area there's a machine selling bottles for $1.20, but if you go into the resident's coffee lounge they have cans for 55 cents. I think it's because they don't want to give the old people a heart attack with inflation, and I'm sure everyone can guess where the employees get all their sodas from.
Two Georgia Gas Stations Closed For Shorting Customers
Oh man, I'm so glad that horrible place got shut down. Everyone who worked there knew they could be a total a-hole to customers because their gas was so much cheaper. After one particularly terrible incident with a one-armed cashier yelling at me, I started going to the BP across the road anyway.

Three Million People Are "Totally Unprepared" For The Digital Transition
@skywatchbob: Sorry to rain on your hate parade, but yes, $50 is a lot of money to some people. And that group probably overlaps with the 3 million people without digital boxes quite a bit. For many people this isn't about whether or not they were lazy, it's just that the government ran out of magic coupons and left a lot of people still wanting one. Nobody (that I know of anyway) is crying about it, but when you can't afford cable to begin with, $50 is a lot.
