Has Olive Garden Lost Its Way In A Forest Of Breadsticks & Cheap Gimmicks?

I agree. I am not one who has to have authentic Italian. I know what I am getting when I go to Olive Garden. But the prices are ridiculous now. They are trying to be upscale but need to accept that they are the Chili's of Italian. Get your prices back down to earth and I might come back.

Silly Reader Thinks Appliances Should Last Longer Than A Year And A Half

My 2 year old Kenmore Dryer died and Sears gave me the $180 sales pitch for the 1 year warranty. I assumed it was the heating element and they said it would probably cost $200 for the parts and labor so the warranty was the better bet.

I called a local repair company and a guy came out the NEXT DAY and replaced the bad switch for $70 parts and labor.

I know this isn't always the best deal but I am a much bigger fan of dealing with a local repairman over Sears and their crappy service windows.

My thought was the opposite. The reason kids are getting fat is because of fast food and processed crap with little nutrition and high calories.

These meals are homemade with ingredients you choose meaning you get to put a healthy meal on the table quicker and cheaper than fast food.

I think the problem is many on here are not in that phase of life with kids and need to have dinner on the table at 6.

Verizon Wireless Mulls Over Idea Of Offering Family Data Plans

AT&T does but Verizon has said they are waiting until the summer to go to tiered data. If they would have a $15 plan similar to AT&T, I would get my new smartphone in a second and be paying the same as I am now. Currently it is $30 for unlimited data...that is it.

Verizon Wireless Mulls Over Idea Of Offering Family Data Plans

We can't wait for this. My wife pays $30 a month for data and uses less than 200 mb a month. Our 700 min. family plan with data is $130 a month! I haven't justified paying another $30 just for me to have data when I sit in an office all day with WIFI and then head home to a house with WIFI.

Verizon will get more business from our family when we have some options for data usage.

Seems like most of the KFC's around here are also A&W's so I guess that would change.

I have wondered the validity of those "take out only" parking spots that some restaurants do. I have not parked in them before but I doubt there is much a restaurant would do.

What about the 3 brightness lamp lightbulbs. We have 4 lamps that have the 50/100/150 watt lightbulbs in them to give lighting options. I have looked but never seen CFL's that can work like the current bulbs I have in my in lamps. Do they exist?
