So they're doing something that everyone else doesn't. It either will work out for them or it won't. At least it's a point of differentiation.

So don't use them.

The snark and self-aware hipsterism are part of their brand. Allowing customers to approve copy would dilute that brand in a huge way. I can only imagine the repeated revisions with customers with no sense of humor. It's cheaper to produce and guaranteed to be brand compliant if they just do it themselves and have the final say.

I haven't done one of these for a while, since the deals are rarely worth even a few minutes of missed sleep. Still, is he sure it wasn't a caching issue on his end? Faced with stuff like this, I'll at least try a (ctrl) + F5 or a different browser.

Screw that. Everyone on the Sprint train. Used nearly 9 GB this billing cycle on my Nexus S (rooted, with WiFi tethering). No emails, no warnings.$130 a month for two phones with 1500 shared minutes (about 35 of those used) with a 18% discount through my employer.

Of course, Sprint thinks 4G is something like 3-5 Mbps in my area. But I'd rather have slower, unlimited and unthrottled data than reach some arbitrary limit really quickly.

Arizona Tries To Shake Amazon Down For $53 Million In Sales Tax

I've been advocating this for a while. I'll happily pay Washington state sales tax on my purchases from Amazon. Washington did a hell of a lot more to facilitate the sale than Minnesota did.

Invariably, there's a chorus of people screaming about how that's unfair to your home state and how I must hate my home state to not want my taxes to benefit people locally. But what did my state do that makes it deserve a cut of the transaction? Roads? Please. That delivery company bought gas around here, which is almost a perfect use tax. Internet? The state takes a cut of my Internet bill already.

It's not complicated. Money is taxed when it changes possession.
