That's clever, and precisely my point. Zeus forbid anyone should come into this thread expecting help on foreclosures - no, no, none of that here. Just murder jokes and insults to other posters, which again, not allowed by the Comments Code but we all know that one is never enforced.

I suppose it's honest. Page views are more important useful information.

I'll reply here since I forgot to note that I did read the "Don't moderate in the comments threads" rule but since Miss Northrup has already come out today and said it is too much a bother for her to take down offensive posts I figured I wouldn't waste her time.

Peace out, y'all.

Good for you. If you pay them enough maybe they'll give you your own byline and you can make murdering prostitutes and "down syndrome freaks are gross" jokes all the day. You'll be an internet star!

No apology necessary. It's not as if they have a Comments Code on this site that says anything like, "Stay on topic" or "No sexism, racism, homophobia, xenophobia or hatred."

I've been pointing out to my husband for some time now that we should cancel our Consumer Reports subscription because the money goes to supporting this site which now has all the class and consumer helpfulness of a fifth-grade bathroom stall. I think the wicked clever dead hooker jokes will finally make my point clear.

Thanks Consumerist for teaching me to talk with my wallet. You'll get no more of our money.

I would bet anything that the employees at this store also know they can sell the special edition covers on ebay. Someone is probably making a nice side business by "throwing them out."

I figured you definitely don't want the stockbroker working the register as they'll demand a 5% commission on every transaction they "process."

Most of this comment thread is a great example of that last line. "We're helping SCIENCE! Now TITS Or GTFO! (giggle, giggle, drool)"

Well, duh. Guys can't get all excited & giggly and come up with the clever ";3" by staring at our hearts no matter how tight the t-shirt.

Besides we need the money for Viagra. It's way more important for old dicks to work than any heart in any woman.
