I'm glad you are keeping yourself busy and already applying for jobs! I hope you get one that is way better than your old one. You didn't like it much anyway!

*hugs* Did you join G+ yet? Did ya? Hehehee.

I mostly learned from the internet and library books. My favorite site to start with is www.knittinghelp.com and I still refer to it often, since I'm a visual learner.

WOOHOO!!!

After a very traumatic day and a half, I am happy to say that my Bastien is healthy again. He had to stay over night at the vet after he refused to give them...er.... a sample. They finally got one late the next morning and he was able to go home. He still has to stay on the special food, so my feeding is all wacked out still. : /

Alfred has a new game he's playing called Hunger Strike. If Bastien has his food, Alfred will not eat his own. The easiest time for me to feed Alfred is when Bastien is busy eating his own food, but that doesn't work anymore. Alfred acts like he wants to eat Bastien's wet food, but if I gave him his own wet food (the SAME food) he won't eat that, either.

Complicated. Frustrating.

I still love em though : /

Fun times tomorrow, Mr. Aroo and I are going to go see Iguidisman and Joo in concert. YAY! : )

Wendy's To Re-Interview And "Reboot" Employees

12:37 PM on February 2, 2012

Wendy's is wasting their time, all they'd have to do to get me back is bring back the salad bar with the chocolate pudding.

Or just put that chocolate pudding on the menu.

Or just tell me what brand that pudding was so I can buy it myself.

That'd go a long way with Kimaroo/Wendy's relations.

It's been a few days longer than a week : / Alfred is the most neurotic/OCD/habit controlled cat that I've ever had in my life. You just have to deal with him in his way or just forget about it. lol. I love him, but he is cra cra.

I'm still giving it more time, but I'm going to have to figure something out soon. I don't want him losing too much weight over this.

Feeding times/controlled food will be good for Bastien, because he is a fattie too. So I think if I could work out Alfred's issues, everyone will be happier in the long run.

Yes, they are quite crafty. If it were the other way around I'd never try it because Alfred is super smart and so damn sneeky. Bastien is more.. um..... oaf-ish? He isn't nearly as crafty but he makes up for it in brute strength. I think if everything is secure/strong enough he won't be able to figure out how to get in on his own. I love that cat to bits, but he is not the sharpest tack in the box. Hehe.

The really good news is that I won't be out very much money if I do end up trying this, because my dad already has a electronic cat door that I can have for free. He had gotten it for his little dogs but it didn't work out for them.

I'm currently watching How I Met Your Mother, and I LOVE it. I had seen random episodes on TV before and thought that it was just an "okay" show, but once I started watching all the episodes in order I realized that there is so much more to it, and it is hillarious. They have jokes in there that may not pay off for episodes at a time, or even entire seasons later and once they do.. omg... hillarity insues. Go for that if you want something fun and lighthearted.

In an entirely different vein, Mr. Aroo and I are watching Breaking Bad. I find it interesting, but Mr. Aroo seems to like it more than I do. It reminds me of American Beauty a great deal. We are both boggled that it's rated TV-14, though... I would imagine it should be rated much more mature than that. Compelling storyline though, for sure, and it's really well done.
