Men's Health Plagiarizes Their Own Cover (On Purpose)

Wait you... think a man posing for a magazine cover might be wearing secret gay code jewelry? Are you posting from a junior high in 1991? Which one's "the gay ear" again, Andy Bernard?

Hey, maybe twenty-three year-olds who can't even manage basic grammar and admit to never having been in a serious relationship don't have the best insight into what recovering from pregnancy is like. I would imagine that new mothers are more concerned with caring for their children and their own health than making sure that "Outrun1986" finds them acceptably attractive. Also, this study appears to have been about childless couples, so what the hell are you even talking about this for?

Great, Now Demi Moore's Torso Is Missing

I've seen that dress in real life and it's very structured. It's going to make any woman roughly that model's size look almost exactly like that, because the bodice is almost corset-like and smooths out the torso. The W cover is undoubtedly photoshopped all to hell, but I do think that's Demi's body, not a copy/paste job.

@Toffeecake: I think maybe they were. It always seemed to me like Blockbuster created their subscription service just to subtract from Netflix's revenues, not to add to their own.

@zentex: The internet has been duly notified of your "better than the people in the article" status. Congratulations, and we all hope you accept snide comments about how you raise your children with the same ease you dish them out to other people.

Why American Credit Cards Suck

@Englishee Teacher: They aren't combination cards. We have debit cards and we have credit cards. They both might have the VISA logo on them, but they do very different things. Our debit cards can be run as credit cards, meaning we sign for our purchases instead of entering a PIN, but they still debit directly from our bank account no matter which way they're run.

Gas Station Writes "Big Fat Black Lady" On Customer's Receipt

@karmaghost: Well, you don't work at a gas station because you're headed for great things in life.

You know, I see people saying some version of that in almost every thread related to menial jobs, and it's pretty insulting to the huge number of people who take jobs like that at some point in their lives. Sometimes people working those jobs are young, still in school, or simply lacking in the opportunities Consumerist commenters take for granted -- that doesn't mean they'll never amount to anything in their lives.

I mean obviously whoever works at this particular store is awful, but please stop looking down on people just because they work minimum wage.
