Step 1: Collect Underpants
Step 2: ???????

@dbshaw: Xbox doesn't have a 50% failure rate either. That whole survey was pretty much debunked as being full of holes and flaws.

@r12ski: Forza is a far and away better series than GT. Go rent/borrow Forza 2 and wait for 3.

@henrygates: You still need the disc in the drive to verify that you ya know, own the game and all (or atleast have a physical copy, cough cough), but it doesn't spin. It's a great feature. Both the Xbox360 and PS3 have it.

@henrygates: It can store movies and music too.

Plus, with my Xbox, I can store multiple games and that's why I invested in a 120gb HDD for it. Without the disc spinning, it means less heat, less power, less noise and faster load times.

I was interested in this until they were like "Nope, still no PS2 backwards compat." I still don't understand that decision. They make a god damn PS2 to PS3 converter for your memory cards still.

I wonder why Consumerist redacted the store he went to. Employee protection incase an Apple boss fires him or something? Seems like a positive, from the consumer's end, story that would get more people to go to that store.

Too bad the fraud protection part doesn't work. Some dummy at my company had a PO Box for the company forwarded to her house becauase she started working from home. She thought they would just forward the stuff with her name on it and not, ya know, trays upon trays of mail meant for the office. That was a fun nightmare to fix.

Did the post office confirm the forwarding order with anyone at the company? Noooo, they just processed the request and went along with their day.
