Did you run a comparison report? Our agent ran a report for us to show us where the home we liked fell in terms of pricing compared to the rest of the neighborhood. It really depended on amenities, square footage, etc. but it helped us determine whether the house was a good deal compared to the rest of the neighborhood.
On the report for that house, the one we liked was listed about 10% lower than everyone else's, but everyone else's was also under contract already - so clearly, it wasn't so much about price for everyone, but about the amenities. Some of the houses were $30,000 more and were quite a bit smaller.

Which Are The Best & Worst U.S. Hotel Chains?
I tend to always stay in mid-level hotels, so my choice is always Westin if I can find a good deal. I've never had any problems with any of the Westins I've stayed in the past few years.

Comcast Assumes Woman Caller Doesn't Like Sports But Has A Husband Who Does
The only time it's really happened to me is at the car dealership. I didn't work with any dealership who talked to my husband instead of me even though it was obvious that I had done more research.
Flyers Season Ticket Holders Sue Comcast Spectacor For Trying To Upsell Them Expensive Winter Classic Tickets
This is actually really good news for the rest of us hockey fans because this is the first year that a team owner has attempted to package tickets in this way. The year before, when the Capitals played the Penguins in Heinz, the regular season game was split from the other non-official games like the alumni game. Fans didn't have to buy everything as a package. It will be interesting to see whether the next Winter Classic will be split or packaged. Judging by this, it would be much wiser to keep it all separate.

I can see it now. Airlines offering different sizes of seats depending on how much you weigh. And of course the smaller people get smaller seats unless they "upgrade" to medium size.

New Tide Pods Box Will Aim To Keep Kids From Feeding On Detergent
My first thought when I heard about kids huffing on detergent pods was "when did this start?" When I was a kid, none of us did this. We had the classics - sharpies and magic markers. But this stuff? Laundry deterget was just laundry detergent. Are kids just dumber now?
