This. If there is a software fix how did you make the leap to it being an antenna issue?

Cat Spared Late Owner's Death Sentence, Fifth Third Intervenes In Will Execution

Right, it doesn't sound like the owner was trying to be cruel, rather responsible, because she had no one to will the cat to. I doubt she would be upset that another home was found for her cat, but perhaps she was the type of person who would not want public resources to be spent on this issue going to court. One could probably find a privately owned shelter to will the cat to for a fee.

Starbucks Is Trying Really Hard To Fit In With The Cool European Kids

If you don't know the difference between the taste of bold coffee and burnt coffee, I don't think you have the right to assert that European coffeehouses are any better or worse than Sbux.

PayPal Leaves Small Business Out $500 And A Snake

Commented by HannahK:

I have always wondered, does PayPal really handle this that differently from other credit card processors, or do we just hear about it more often because small merchants like the OP don't understand "the cost of doing business" as well as larger merchants?

If he had a small business with whatever credit card machine it commonly used at most retail stores, and someone reported a purchase as fraud to their credit card company, what would have happened then? Do the credit card companies eat that cost, or do they take the money back from the store? I always assumed that store is out that money, and they have to chalk it up to the small percentage of stock that inevitable gets stolen.

Is $51/Lb. Worth The Convenience Of K-Cup Coffee?

Your situation is why I gt a K-Cup 3 years ago. It's working out great for me. I recognize that it's more money than buying by the pound, but I would never brew a pot of coffee just for myself, so when I compare the cost of a k-cup to buying a cup from a coffee place, it's still not bad.

Should Companies Advertise To Kids At The Library?

The only place I think truly needs to be an advertising free zone (for children) is public schools. Since school is required, it's keeping kids a captive audience. I think parents have the ability to keep their kids away from it any ads they find inappropriate pretty much anywhere else.

Gay Couples Lose Big On Tax Breaks Because Their Marriages Aren't Recognized

"The Government really should just stop recognizing all marriages when it comes to tax purposes"

Right. Instead of constantly arguing over who should get the benefits of marriage, the government should stop giving any couple couple a tax benefit just because they choose to associate with each other. This *should* be satisfactory to both sides of the argument, because it lets them define their marriage within their community in their own terms, and also removes the possibility for discrimination by the government. I think the fact that people don't care for this solution shows that they are actively looking to punish a lifestyle that they disapprove of, not just trying to protect their own definition of marriage.

Is "No Problem" A Suitable Substitute For "You're Welcome"?

Yes, that's how I see it too. If I really didn't do anything to deserve thanks, I feel weird saying "you're welcome".

What Would You Do If You Found $2,500 In The House You Just Bought?

Commented by HannahK:

There was a similar story posted recently about a man who returned $35,000 that he found in his new home. The children of the deceased former owner hadn't known it was there. For some reason that seemed like the obvious "right" thing to do, yet I don't think keeping the $2500 would make me feel too guilty. I guess it was the fact that $35,000 could have been the owner's entire life savings, and it seemed tragic for his family never to know about it. $2500 is not chump change but it's not life changing either.

Target Demands Extra $189 To Exchange Camera No Longer On Sale

"I am not dumb, so this was clearly not user error, rather a defective product sold by Target."

I find this statement hilarious.

Anyway, while I agree with other commenters that the OP's attitude towards people with accents is really not helping his case, Target's policy on this is completely ridiculous. Now that I know about it I will probably skip any promotions at Target for items that could need to be returned.
