No One Is Allowed To Love Meat On Their Pizza Unless It's From Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut sucks anyway. Where I live the local franchiser has closed all the convenient stores so that orders take over an hour to arrive and are not edible. Not a viable source of pizza.

We've taken to making our own which guarantees that everyone gets exactly what they want in the crust and on it.

BTW make time is 5 minutes for dough, 30 to rise (give or take), 10 minutes to make pizza and 10 minutes to cook it.

Dear ESTAMBO, NEPHEW OF DEPOSED NIGERIAN CROWN PRINCE:

I would like very much to rent the property from you. I would like very much to wire you the full amount of the rental, first last and security, but I find myself a little short of funds at the moment. I need to be able to open a bank account in order to have my structured settlement payments paid to me. Unfortunately, the type of account I need to open requires a very large initial deposit to open the account. I have not got that money at this time. However, when I get the account opened I should receive $122,543 as a lump deposit, more if it takes longer to open.

So I ask you Sir would you be willing to wire me some money so that I intern can wire you the rental money and a respectable bonus for your kind help.

Sincerely,

Billy-Bob Tilson

PS All my friends call me stumpy since the train accident that got me all that money.

I wonder if the poor customer service provided by stores (in their apparent rush to the bottom) is the reason so many products now come with prominent warnings to call the manufacturer if you have any problem with the product and "do not return to the store", but rather call the manufacturer's support number. This enables the manufacturer to not lose out because the store staff are so poorly trained and lack the knowledge to actually help the customer.

Maybe manufacturers should get back to the model of providing training, repair manuals and parts to local repair depots/companies and cut the big stores out of the lucrative repair cycle.

I have observed in a couple of stores that the staff simply note the returned item and then toss it in the garbage.

I do recall when I worked for a major manufacturer just before the turn of the century we would have skids of defective products returned to the warehouse from large retailers. The paperwork would claim the skid contained so many of such units that were defective. When the boys took the skids apart to confirm the paperwork it would all be wrong and much of the product on the skid wouldn't even be our products. The problem here of course is that regardless of what was actually sent us we had to credit the store for what they said they sent. We always lost out.

OK... We buy food in order to gain nutrients and calories. Does this burger represent good value in this respect? Likely it does. So for folks who have a need for it this is likely a valid option.

Now, for those of us who already carry around a great storehouse of energy in our caboose or beer gut, this is not likely a valid option.

Strange, but to me this doesn't seem like a problem.
