Agree. Check the stats noting how many Groupon businesses say they will never do that again.

Although that's ok for Groupon since there are new businesses springing up every day!

Roto-Rooter Offers Tiny Refund To Customer Who Spent $200 For Short Visit (Updated)

Posts like this are why companies start to hate consumers.

Roto Rooter did nothing wrong. The consumer was to blame as many noted. They still gave this girl $30. Now she continues to complain and you give her a platform as if the company should be doing more?

Consumers and providers are a partnership. We expect companies to act a certain way, and companies expect us to act a certain way. People like "Rochelle" are turning it into an antagonistic battle, where OF COURSE companies have to fight back with things like add-on fees, shrink rays and the like.

If we want better companies, we should be better consumers.

I like when people try to save a few bucks and complain that they don't get the same service as those who paid more.

Priceline and the like are fine, but seriously, do you not think there are tradeoffs for getting a lower price? Do you really think a hotel should appreciate a customer who nets them less money than someone who pays full price?

You understand that "costs to the vendor" are passed down to the consumer, right?

If the vendor is getting screwed, they're going to pass it through to the consumer either by higher prices, lesser service or reduced product.
