...with berry red and smurfy blue, they're fun for me an you.

That's right, I have that stupid jingle stuck in my brain, taking up valuable memory space that could be used for something more important... like my kids birthdays.

Things To Put In Your "I'm Dead" Folder"

I created my Big Book of Everything for this. Besides the "things to know when I'm dead" I've also found it useful for filling out applications (having previous residences listed out means I don't have to remember that address from six years ago) and a memory jogger when I haven't visted a website in forever.

It's on my website if anyone is interested. www.erikdewey.com.

Based on some difficulties when my father died, I put together a PDF called the Big Book of Everything that collects information on you that people could possibly need in the future.

It's free and can be found at http://www.erikdewey.com/bigbook.htm.

Dell's frozen lemonade from Rhode Island. I still remember chasing after the truck to get some as a kid and my dad racing right behind me to get his. Mmmm.

The zero-based budget changed my life. Through it I got out of debt and now have a substantial emergency fund.

Basically by allocating your money it eliminates the need to make pressured decisions when spending money. If you have money for it allocated in the budget, you buy it, if not, don't.

For those business majors out there, it is simply a statement of cash flows.

The issue is the spacing between ties on a cable bundle. Basically the it was a little unclear that the ties needed to be 1 inch or less between each of them. The FAA put out a mandate that they all needed to be checked.

Unfortunately, it takes a couple of hours to check each plane.

Auto Shop Owner Flees, Leaving Unfixed Cars, Unpaid Employees In Wake

Living in Tulsa, we got to see this unfold (and as an aside I remember the Linda Soundtrack commercials and they were as awful as you think they were).

What is really strange about this whole thing is that Fox collision was pretty successful here. I drove by one of the repair centers each day after work and it was always busy.

Of course the fact that there are signs on the doors stating that everything is government owned leads us to speculate either tax issues or higher crimes. But yeah, it was crazy. One day they just close up shop. Had to have police around to help everyone get their cars back.
