@h3llc4t, breaker of office dress codes: I have a titanium ring and I absolutely love it. If you guys are rough on jewelry I'd suggest a satin finish, something I got on mine. I work on motorcycles and engines, and it's as good as the day I got it, it's light, comfortable, and I hate finger jewelry! Comfort fit FTW.

Being Unemployed In A Downturn Will Damage Your Career Forever

1:00 AM on October 19, 2009

*sigh* when it rains it pours. I graduated from an excellent school, with an internship overseas with the US Government, I can speak 3 languages and I have more talents and capabilities than you can shake a stick at, white or blue collar. I'm stuck in a substitute job, and never get any callbacks. Though I'm in the process of offering my soul to Homeland.

Apple Tried To End Microsoft's Laptop Hunters Television Commercials

5:02 AM on July 22, 2009

Macs have never appealed to me, they don't seem very utilitarian, and leave very little wiggle room for upgrades and tinkering, much like i've done since my first IBM 286DX.

I can't even bring myself to buy an ipod. I like my little creative zen xfi, Archos 605, and Cowon media players.

I say good on Micro$oft for fighting back, it may be a towering goliath of evil, but it's the one i'll back.

3:46 PM on June 4, 2009

My wife has been on a blood thinner regimen for the last 5 years (she's 26) started off with coumadin (see warfarin/rat poison) but whenever we fly, or she throws a clot, she's got to get lovonox shots in an alcohol suspension (so it burns like a mother). Luckily, she's found a great hematologist that's gotten her off the rat poison, kids are out of the question though. Blood thinners are insanely dangerous to start with, because you're countermanding what the body naturally does.

Fiat To Take Over Chrysler?

3:29 PM on January 20, 2009

Hm, so it looks like this?

1. Fiat and Chrysler power combine..
2. Chrysler starts making Fiats..
3. Profit! (or lots of people die)

Yes, I see fiat pandas and 500 lunchboxes roving our interstates and they're all rebranded to chrysler or dodge..
