I have this image of a double decker bus driving along a block of sad famlies dragging their belongings out of their homes, while Nelson is on the top level of the bus giving a good old "HAha!"
This is a pretty clever way to drive up the selling price for the homes by grouping buyers together.
"And to your left, we see a 3,000 square foot home owned by a couple and their two dogs, notice how they're scattering car parts across the lawn as they move their things out. You just might get this house for a steal now!"
The spammers who blanket towns with signs saying "We Buy Houses" like to take potential investors for tours of their properties. But the events described in the article sound a lot more professional and legitimate, with more experts and fewer middle-men, than what the we-buy-houses spammers could ever offer.
