Kinda funny...kinda not at all 'Consumerist fare'...I'm kinda more pissed off than anything else that there are people out there doing stupid crap like not following firearm safety rules when they could have ended up as a perfectly good stain on somebody's jeans.
Pretty sure that's a run-on. Anyway, a gun can be fun, but that doesn't make it a toy. If you don't know how to use it, don't be and idiot and just put it down.

Paul had obviously refused to show his Social Security card and was shot by the border patrol as a suspected illegal alien. Gotta be *his* fault for flouting national security.

What's really weird is that after it was reported locally, NPR picked it up, too. I guess this was "let's check back in on what's happening in New Orleans" week.
@ElizabethD: I was trying to figure out how to get a solid "blame the victim" post out of this :) The best I could come up with was blaming him for being in new orleans in the first place.
