You'd think this shirt was being sold at Compusa!
@AlteredBeast: Bwahaha.
@AlteredBeast: If it were, it would be the other way around.
They don't call it value city for nothing...
Its DKNY man. Same shitty product, NEW HIGHER PRICE!
Damn! I just bought it elsewhere for full price!!!
QUICK, buy it before the price goes back up!!! :)
Dear Consumerist,
These kinds of "stories" are getting old. Computers make mistakes. Welcome to life.
@twoply: In this case, it's more likely an employee made a mistake. Something along the lines of punching in "909" instead of "900", and then not clearing the old input before correcting. So, a $9.00 shirt gets marked as $9099.00.
I don't think hearing about stupid employees ever gets old.
@twoply: Dear twoply,
These consumerism stories are made to be funny. Lighten up.
Hmm, I wonder if they have any deals like that on pickup trucks????
@twoply: You know, there are a lot of Consumerist posts that I skim past because they don't particularly interest me. I'm not sure why you can't do the same.
@BobCoyote: I suspect that they went to enter $9.99 using the numberpad, and they accidentally hit the rather large 0 key instead of the decimal point since the two are adjacent to each other.
