‘Pretty Woman’ Hotel Package: Spend $100,000 To Live As Everyone’s Favorite Prostitute For A Day

For the most part you would assume that high-end hotels would want to distance themselves from any so-called ladies of the night. So it might sound a bit odd that one of Beverly Hill’s most upscale hotels has created a couple’s package that allows guests to relive the experiences of everyone’s favorite fictional prostitute, Vivan Ward from Pretty Woman.

The New York Daily News reports that consumers can live-out their Pretty Woman fantasies by purchasing a “Pretty Woman for a Day” package at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel where the movie is set, that is if they want to cough up $100,000.

“You’re the star of your own love story when you recreate your favorite moments from Pretty Woman at Beverly Wilshire,” an ad for the package reads.

On its face, the movie Pretty Woman is a romantic comedy about a prostitute experiencing glitz and glamour while falling in love with her knight in shining armor. But if you look a little deeper the movie isn’t about all the fancy experiences that money provides the main character while staying at a high-end hotel, it’s about a woman getting the respect she deserves.

While the hotel offers three packages, the most extravagant comes with a price tag of $100,000 and includes a one-night stay in the Presidential Suite – the same room Vivian and Edward cohabited in for a few days.

The package comes with a three-hour shopping spree on Rodeo Drive, complete with a personal shopping consultant and a $2,000 spending allowance.

Couples also receive a manicure and pedicure at the spa’s Nail Bar and Diamond Luxury Lift facials and massages.

The afternoon continues with a ride in a Rolls-Royce to Greystone Mansion for a “shoeless” picnic and musical serenade.

To cap off the romantic stay, guests will dine on the Veranda Suite Terrace and choose between a show at the L.A. Opera or the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.

While the package may be a bit disconcerting to those who think too much about the implications of reenacting a movie about a man who effectively buys a woman for an extended weekend, the connection to the film will be driven home all day by the presence of movie stills everywhere you go.

“Throughout your stay, we’ll inspire you with stills from the movie, allowing you and your sweetheart to mimic classic scenes for exclusive photography opportunities,” the package description reads.

This final perk leaves us with one question: Is someone following you around on your romantic day, or are you expected to recreate these moments via selfies?

Consumers who aren’t willing to shell out for the luxurious ultimate package can choose from the still-expensive Deluxe or Premier packages, prices at $15,000 and $25,000, respectively.

For $10,000 guests get a niche in a deluxe Beverly Suite, two hours with a personal shopper, a two-hour picnic and a 60-minute couple’s massage.

The Premier package includes a night in the Veranda Suite, a three-hour picnic with a musical serenade, a $1,000 clothing allowance per person and a 90-minute couples massage.
