Kraft Recalls 1.3 Million Cases Of Cottage Cheese Due To Possible Early Disgustingness

Do you love cottage cheese? You may not love what happens to 1.3 million cases of Kraft cottage cheese that the company has recalled because they’re at an increased risk of spoilage. Affected brands include Knudsen, Breakstone’s, Simply Kraft, and Daily Chef.

Kraft says that during production, some dairy ingredients were stored at improper temperatures, which could result in early spoilage, illness, and generally nasty-tasting cottage cheese.

The company told CNN that one customer has reported cottage cheese-related illness, but that was from a now-expired lot that wasn’t included in the recall.

You can get a full list of affected products and brand names on Kraft’s recall announcement. Customers should bring their cottage cheese back to the store where it was purchased for a refund or exchange, or call 1-800-396-6307 between 9 am and 6 pm Eastern time.
