While Paula Deen’s Business Partners Abandon Ship, Her Cruise Trip Adds An Extra Voyage

Cruisin' with Paula -- it can happen.

Cruisin’ with Paula — it can happen.

As of yesterday evening, Paula Deen had lost a handful of her business partners: Food Network, Smithfield Foods, Caesars Entertainment, Walmart and by the end of the day, Home Depot. Meanwhile, QVC and Target are still undecided. But one partner isn’t abandoning ship yet, and it happens to be an actual ship: Organizers of her annual “Paula Deen Cruise” event have added an extra voyage to the 2014 schedule.

The annual boat ride — and who knew Deen had branched out into the maritime tradition, anyway? — is on board the “Mariner of the Sea,” a ship operated by Royal Caribbean that appears to be run by an independent agency.

Business has been hopping lately, and as such, the cruise organizers have decided to go big.

“Due to so many requests from Paula’s fans in the past we are actually planning two cruises for 2014 and look forward to both,” a rep for the cruise told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column. “It’s always an amazing time with Paula, her family and fans. If she goes – we go.”

It still remains to be seen whether or not Deen will be in the mood for the high seas in 2014.
