Dell Really Doesn’t Want To Sell You A French Keyboard, Marks It Up $999,999.99

meeeeellionKen was shopping for a new laptop on Dell’s site, and discovered a strange bug in the ordering system. One of the many features customers can add to their computer was a French-English keyboard, with a slightly different key configuration. But for customers outside of Canada, this keyboard carries a slight premium. Of almost a million dollars.

Ken writes:

Was looking to finally replace my 7 year old Toshiba Satellite and decided to take a look at Dell, which has a discount program for military members. But don’t expect your palm rest to be labeled in French and English, there is quite a premium ($999,999.99 to be exact). Still, a $251.20 discount, so, you’d be fool not to get it.
