Walmart Banking On Return Of Nintendo GameCube, Still Charging $40 For Game From 2006

We know there’s a market for classic games and game consoles out there, but one Walmart is holding steady on the price for a Nintendo GameCube title that was released seven years ago.

Over at Reddit, a brave Raider of the Lost Walmart stumbled upon the above relics, actual copies of Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 for the bottom-dollar price of $39.94, almost twice what some third-party seller is asking on Amazon and about what you’d pay for GameCube itself at stores like GameStop.

Of course, as some have pointed out, the Wii will play GameCube titles, so maybe there is a market for people who want to pay full price to play a 7-year-old game made for a discontinued console on a previous generation console.

Hey, different strokes for different folks.
