And yet, the company that screws up everyone’s student loan payment managed to beat out the company that won’t refund anyone’s eBay purchase in a narrow 53-47 showdown.
But does Sallie have enough momentum to take frequent Final Four finisher Ticketmaster?
The fee-happy ticket seller earned a respectable 64-36 opening round victory against credit bureau Equifax. But is taking down 1/3 of the credit reporting biz enough practice to go up against the trillion-dollar mountain of student loan debt and the company charged with collecting a good chunk of it?
